This group discusses both technical and strategic elements of retrofitting homes to improve energy efficiency. It focuses on privately owned and rented homes. It shares best practice and aims to address gaps in service delivery. It cooperates with the Private Sector Housing and Asset Management sub groups where the topics cross over.
It has members from the Kent and Medway local authorities. Recently it’s discussed grant funded retrofit, Park Homes, Solar Together, Green Open Homes Pilot, marketing and communications and Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES).
