Who are we
The Kent Housing Group (KHG) is a forum for housing organisations in Kent and Medway. KHG has representation from all twelve Kent local authorities, Medway Council, fourteen housing associations, five support providers, Kent County Council and Kent Public Health. KHG also has affiliated membership with a number of organisations who have a vested interest in the housing sector across Kent and Medway.
What is the KHG Vision?
KHG prides itself on acting as the 'Voice of Housing in Kent' to represent the collective voice of Kent's housing bodies providing advice and a 'Kent perspective' to regional and national bodies for the benefit of Kent's residents.
What are the aims of KHG
KHG aims to ensure that high quality affordable homes are delivered across Kent and Medway. KHG aims to ensure that partnership working ensures the best possible outcome for the residents of Kent and Medway.
Subgroups
KHG have a number of Sub Groups that sit beneath the umbrella of the main memberships. These Sub Groups offer a range of functions and cover a number of key strategic and operational areas.READ MORE
Protocols
KHG has a proven track record to successfully produce useful and informative protocol documents, that will ensure consistency and transparency of approach across a range of service delivery areas. These are developed in partnership with relevant colleagues and endorsed across the KHG membership.READ MORE
The Kent and Medway Housing Strategy
KHG have developed four editions of the Kent and Medway Housing Strategy, with support from a number of key partnership organisations. The strategy is a call to action and a foundation for change, so we can give every resident of Kent and Medway the opportunity to live in a safe, high-quality, energy efficient, affordable home that supports their health and wellbeing.READ MORE
