Inside Housing has released news today (at 4.10pm) that the Housing Minister, Gavin Barwell has written to councils to notify them that the Government will not be requesting any high-value asset payments during 2017/18. He has also advised Inside Housing that the regional pilot of Right to Buy that was announced in the Autumn Statement yesterday will test one-for-one replacement and portability of discounts, which didn’t happen with the current pilot.
