Kent Housing Group and Jobcentre Plus presentation on Kickstart

On 2nd November Eileen Bishop of JobCentrePlus will give an overview of their KickStart programme followed by Q&A will be facilitated by Brian Horton.

The scheme is focussed on creating fully funded six-month work placements for young people who are currently unemployed and on Universal Credit.

Funding covers:

  • 25 hours of work a week at National Minimum Wage
  • NI contributions and auto-enrolment employer pension contributions
  • £1500 grant per Kickstart placement to cover the costs of training and on-boarding
