We are recruiting to an important and exciting role to work across the Kent and Medway Integrated Care System.  The postholder will take responsibility for, and drive forward the development, delivery, reporting and evaluation of a portfolio of projects related to integrating work and health across the Kent and Medway ICS.  These multidisciplinary projects will include supporting strategy development and building a strong, coherent partnership which maximises the potential of existing assets and works together to create new opportunities.

WorkWell is born out of the recognition that supporting people to start, stay and succeed in work requires an integrated whole systems approach to addressing health related barriers to work at a local level. Working collaboratively with stakeholders and organisations across Kent and Medway, the postholder will act as a focal point for partnership development and networking on matters related to integrating work and health.  The postholder will work with colleagues from across the full range of organisations within the Kent and Medway Integrated Care System.

We are looking for an individual who is innovative, flexible, collaborative and focused and has the exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to work collaboratively across a range of disciplines and across organisational boundaries. It is essential that the postholder is able to adapt to change positively within an ever evolving sector, responding to the needs of the Kent and Medway work and health programme and its objectives.

A grant application has been submitted by the Kent and Medway Integrated Care System to be part of the DWP/DHSC WorkWell Vanguard Programme.  The outcome of this bid is expected in Summer 2024, if successful this may provide an opportunity to extend the contract term for this role.
