This webinar on fire safety in sheltered accommodation will be presented by Kent Housing Group and Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
It aims to provide the guidance that should be used when discussing these types of premises, enhance knowledge of what should be in place and the best way to support residents about fire safety and will include:
- Competence of fire risk assessor
- Compartmentation
- Importance of fire doors
- Fire safety England Regulation requirements
- Evacuation strategy for these types of premises
- Maintenance (very broad overview)
- Person Centred Fire Risk Assessments
- Bed bound residents
