‘The Disabled Facilities Grant is primarily for the provision of home adaptations to allow authorities to meet their statutory duty to provide home adaptations to those people who qualify for the grant. Where agreed locally (and with the express agreement of district councils in two-tier areas) a portion of the DFG funding can also be spent on wider social care capital projects’
