Today, Wednesday 10th October is World Mental Health Day. World Mental Health Day is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy and it was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health. On this day, each October thousands of supporters come to celebrate this annual awareness program to bring attention to Mental Illness and its major effects on peoples’ life worldwide.
Every year one adult in four, along with one child in ten, will have a mental health issue. These conditions can profoundly affect literally millions of lives, affecting the capability of these individuals to make it through the day, to sustain relationships, and to maintain work.
Together we can work to remove the stigma associated with mental health #WorldMentalHealthDay2018
