On Friday 11th November the Kent Planning Protocol was launched, a document that sets out the key commitments to ensure consistent transparent and time efficient planning processes to ensure that acceleration of housing delivery across Kent and Medway is achieved.
The protocol has been developed in partnership between Kent Planning Officers, Kent Developers, Kent County Council and endorsed by the Kent Housing Group.
The respective Chairs of the three County wide groups, KCC and the Homes and Communities Agency came together on 11th November to share with planning, housing and developer colleagues the intent and messages from the protocol and positive impact this will have for Kent and Medway housing delivery.
