Following a discussion at the meeting of Kent Housing Group on 17 May it was decided the Kent Housing Group Seminar scheduled for 19 July 2017 should be postponed. This decision was taken because Government’s calling of a General Election in June has made it impossible for us to attract the calibre of speaker we would expect from the DCLG; there are obvious uncertainties around the future priorities for housing depending on the outcome of the election and sponsorship and delegate take up is lower than previous years.
While the Seminar is, for now, postponed, it is intended over the coming months to run some of the workshops which are considered to be particularly relevant to members and we will be letting you know about these as soon as arrangements are finalised.
Importantly , no invoices have been raised for any of you that have booked delegate places and we do hope you will support future events hosted by KHG.
