Katie Hayes, from Policy In Practice, has offered an hour session for Kent Housing Group members where she will explain what LIFT is and how organisations use it.
The Low Income Family Tracker (LIFT) is a dashboard that analyses benefits administrative data to provide household-level insight into the financial resilience of your low-income residents. LIFT facilitates better targeting of support, by identifying those households who are struggling with their living costs and could be missing out on some of the £23 billion of unclaimed benefits in England and Wales. This enables councils to target interventions to them before they fall into crisis, preventing homelessness and creating better outcomes for residents through benefit maximisation and other targeted support campaigns.
