Moat Homes are hosting a discussion session for KHG members regarding the Voluntary Right to Buy, this will be an opportunity for both local authority and housing association members of KHG to considering developing as common approach as possible with regards to this Government policy. This will include discussions about which properties may be exempt, how to approach applications to buy homes developed through s106 agreements and how portability/replacement properties will work.
Moat homes will host this discussion session at their offices in Dartford, the full address is Mariner House, Galleon Boulevard, Crossways, Dartford, Kent DA2 6QE. There is limited parking on site so please do car share where possible or use public transport, also please ensure that you take note of any parking restrictions close to the venue.
Hilary Davies at DCLG has been invited by Moat to attend the session and is confirmed as attending. Moat have also invited and have confirmation that Richard Locke, Moat solicitor from Sharratts, will also take part in the session and present “the legal perspective”.
The session will open at 10am with 30 minutes to have refreshments with a start at 10.30am. The session will close around 1pm with a sandwich lunch.
