The Kent Private Sector Housing Group meets twice a year to share best practice around private sector housing and to develop and promote joint working across Kent and Medway to improve the quality of private sector housing. It also aims to achieve greater consistency in implementation of key initiatives and policies by local authorities and other providers.
This sub group aims to consider the strategic element of the Private Sector Housing service delivered by the Local Housing Authorities in Kent and Medway. The group also has representation from landlords associations and Home Improvement Agencies with the aim of building upon the existing strong relationships within this sector.
It has links with the CIEH technical group for private sector housing and shares many of the same members.
