The Kent Housing Group has developed an Affordability Protocol, a document developed to provide guidance of how to manage the impact of welfare and other Government reforms that have led to the use of affordability assessment tools when considering letting of social housing. The document is designed to ensure the most suitable outcome for the potential tenant and to encourage dialogue amongst all relevant parties at appropriate stages of this process.
