This workshop has come about in light of the many Government reforms with regards to eligibility for housing and housing related benefits, and to establish in Kent if there is commitment and potential to drive a common approach on the responses to the challenges laid down by Government.

The workshop will be led by William Benson and Tracey Kerly, Chief Executives for Tunbridge Wells BC and Ashford BC, both of whom have a passion for housing and mitigating the negative consequences of reform, for the benefit of the communities that housing and partners serve.

There will be facilitated discussion topics, a chance to share thoughts and visions about how to prevent potential fragmented services and partnerships across the County and to work to ensure that tenancies are let and sustainable to those eligible for them.

The agenda and the draft Affordability Principles are available to download and view ahead of the workshop session.

Please confirm your attendance by 5pm on Wednesday 19th October with Rebecca Smith (Rebecca.smith@ashford.gov.uk)
