£4£ Project - Orbit South

In Sept 2010 Orbit South were awarded funding from the KHG Innovation Fund to deliver the Pound4Pound project. This project was to provide free money management and basic budgetting workshops specifically targetted at younger residents and those starting out on their tenancy. This age group is known to experience a higher degree of financial challenges in establishing and maintaining their tenancies. The outcomes for residents would be a greater awareness of the range of financial services and options available to them and increased confidence in dealing with banks and other financial institutions.

We engaged a specialist training provider to develop a set of comprehensive course materials and deliver 7 resident workshops across Kent.Part of the commitment we gave at the start of the project was for all KHG members to be able to access and use these materials within their own organisations to deliver their own training courses to their customers.

The course documents are all now available to download on this website (see the links below), these are free to download. If any advice on how to deliver them is needed please contact Laura Leeves at Orbit South on laura.leeves@orbit.org.uk.
